All orders are sent via the Royal Mail.
We aim to dispatch orders within 1-5 working days. We are a one-person dispatch team, so please be patient if your order is not dispatched immediately.
We dispatch via First Class post unless you have chosen the Tracked option, which will allow you to track the order on its way to you. Both services aim to deliver on the next working day.
Europe
Unfortunately, due to a high number of customs failures post-Brexit and the GPSR regulation of December 2024, we no longer ship to Europe. We sincerely apologise to all our EU customers and encourage you to order from one of our stockists.
USA and rest of the world
For all international orders, you have two options.
International Standard delivery. We include this choice of shipping solution because it is cheaper and aims to be delivered in a similar time as tracked shipping. Unfortunately this doesn't have a tracking number. Once the order is shipped, we have no way to know where the parcel is.
International Tracked option will allow you to track the order on its way to you. The delivery aim is 6 to 7 working days. We strongly recommend this way of shipping as you can track your order and we can get compensation if the parcel is lost.
The arrival time is an ESTIMATE given by Royal Mail. The actual arriving time may be different.
Please note that it is possible for orders to be lost in the post, especially international deliveries. If you order is lost, please email hello@commonthreadspress.co.uk.
Returns and Refunds
We do not accept any returns or refunds. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. If you change your mind about your order, you can cancel it before it is dispatched. After it has been dispatched, unfortunately there is nothing we can do.
Import Tax and VAT
For international customers: Common Threads Press is responsible for shipping the product, but customers are the importer and are therefore responsible for paying any applicable custom duties and import taxes issued at the point of entry into the destination country. It is the responsibility of the buyer to investigate any issues related to customs.
FAQS
Can you mark my item as a gift on the customs form to save money on import taxes?
No, we are unable to do to waive customs fees by doing this as it makes our shop liable and puts your packages safety at risk during transit.
When can I expect my order?
All orders, unless otherwise specified in the listing, will ship within 1-5 working days of the purchase date. We are a one-person dispatch team, running this alongside a day job!
