MANY HANDS MAKE A QUILT: SHORT HISTORIES OF RADICAL QUILTING
Common Threads Press is looking for an illustrator for the next issue, titled 'Many Hands Make A Quilt: Short Histories of Radical Quilting'.
The illustrator will need to create 10 small illustrations that represent the quilt being discussed. This won't be the whole quilt, but perhaps just a square, a motif, a stitch or a doodle that evokes the quilt.
Many of the quilts we are discussing do not have high-quality photos taken of them that are freely available but most do, which we will provide the illustrator with. For those we cannot find high-quality photos of, we will source what we can and we will work with you to come up with some creative ideas of how we can represent the quilts.
This project will start immediately and need to be completed by the end of February/start of March. The fee is £150.
To put yourself forward for consideration, please fill in this Google Form by the 1st February.
